Research Area A: Genetic components
Research Area A includes projects investigating cardiomyocyte-intrinsic pathways caused by heart disease mutations. These projects are focused on deciphering the genetic causes regulating defects in gene expression and protein homeostasis in disease states.
Research Area B: signaling wires
Research Area B encompasses projects focusing on wires of molecular circuits that are influenced by environmental stress. We focus on wires that are governed at the transcriptional, post-transcriptional and translational, autophagic and secretory level.
